Error while configuring ID Vault "Server Error: The remote server is not a known TCP/IP host"

Faced the very same issue. Unfortunately.

The key point is: the Domino server should see itself by DNS service.
If from some reason in your environment, the DNS server do not know about your Domino server, just add onto Domino server hosts file the IP pointing to the short name of Domino server.

Example:
Full Domino server name: MyDominoServerName/MyOrganization/MyCountry
192.168.1.10 MyDominoServerName

Hope this could help some one.
